You topic is touching on a subject that many "new" writers would like to know about: How the hell do I get published? What are the requirements? What's the format and style publishers are looking for in a proposal? And it goes on and on. I think this subject will be more challenging than you think because you have to consider multiple publishers not just the one you work for if you want to develop a guide (unless you think everyone should just publish with the one company). I'm very interested in what you will have to say on the subject.
I like your perspective on fighting actually being safer. It makes sense to me. Plus, in the military all we did was trash talk 24/7. I used to joke that I received a Ph.D. in shit talking from the Marines. However, I like your fighting topic the best.
